Rocawear In Trouble?

He doesn't really need the money anyways I guess! Check out the story below from huffingtonpost.com about how one of Jay Z's many business ventures isn't going so fab

From chart-topping singles to taking care of his newborn daughter Blue Ivy, Jay-Z has definitely "made it."

Unfortunately, that doesn't mean everything he touches turns to platinum. Nowhere has Shawn Corey Carter stumbled as greatly as in his clothing business, Rocawear.

Since launching the company in 1995, Jay-Z's apparel line has seen its ups and downs. But this winter has proved especially rocky, with a global sales dip of $500 million that caused the company's Manhattan store to lay off half of its 56 employees.

But Jay-Z refuses to be defeated: The rapper is launching a commercial to remind his fans of his impoverished beginnings, "Empire State Of Mind" style.

Women's Wear Daily reports (via OMG! From Yahoo) that the black and white spots will be titled "From Marcy to Madison Square," tracking the moguls career from Brooklyn's projects to New York's most venerable concert venue.

Back in November, Jay-Z caused a stir when Rocawear allegedly sold "Occupy All Streets" t-shirts without giving any revenues to the Occupy Wall St. movement they were inspired by.

"Holy smokes. Those 'Occupy All Streets' t-shirts sold out faster than Rick Perry can name three agencies. If you missed out on the first batch, we've got your back like scoliosis," a post on the Roc4Life blog said. "Rocawear has already restocked the fancy black tops -- available in all sizes via Rocawear.com."

Cee Lo's Pre Game Party

I would just be happy with a big plate of nachos for the game...

Check out the story from TMZ.com

Cee Lo Green
reunited with his boys from Goodie Mob this week ... inside an Indianapolis strip club ... and TMZ has learned the crew treated the stripper ladies to a five-figure thunderstorm.

Cee Lo and his boys met up in Indy for some pre-Super Bowl partying Wednesday night ... and decided to take the festivities over to a local gentlemen's establishment around 1:00 AM Thursday morning.

Sources inside the club tell us ... Cee Lo requested lap dances from "the baddest b*tches in the club" ... and the group rewarded their good behavior by making it rain with roughly $10,000 in cash.

We're told there were other famous people in the club at the time -- including some NFL players -- but they were no competition for Team Cee Lo, who easily commanded the girls' attention.

Guess the change in his pocket was enough.

M.I.A - Bad Girls

Reese VS Justin

According to huffingtonpost.com

Did Reese Witherspoon insult Justin Bieber before quickly realizing it probably wasn't a good idea?

When asked what she thought of rumors that Bieber might star in a remake of the 1996 thriller, "Fear,"(which starred Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg) she appeared a little caught off guard.

"Fine. Great. That would be cool," she said. "Would he be playing me or Mark Wahlberg?"

The 35-year-old actress immediately started giggling but quickly tried to move past the small dig at the teenage popstar. She went on to clarify, saying it would be believable if he had a crazy fan after him.

"Is it like a girl who harasses the family, like a stalker who can't leave him alone? That would be good," she said. "I mean girls get crazy about him."

We admit we can't really see Bieber, 17, taking on Wahlberg's role as a psychotic stalker who terrorizes his girlfriend and her family.

Despite the remark, Reese went on to say she's a fan of the singer.

"He's very talented," she said. "I didn't know much about him until I saw the documentary ["Never Say Never"] and I thought that was really worthwhile and worth seeing, and it made me think, 'What a sweetheart.'"
