Katy Perry 3D Movie!?

From NME.com

Katy Perry is set to release a 3D concert movie this summer.

Called Katy Perry: Part Of Me, the film has been made in conjunction with Paramount and is named after her most recent single, which she performed last month at the 54th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Perry announced the release of the film, which follows the singer on her recent California Dreams Tour, via her Twitter account, writing:

FINALLY, my MOVIE is coming out with Paramount this summer! It's called "KATY PERRY: PART OF ME" Presented In 3D! KATYCATS-LETS TREND #KP3D

Earlier this year Katy Perry signed a deal with Electronic Arts, the company behind the best-selling computer game The Sims. The deal means that Perry will appear in a host of games in The Sims franchise and in themed content as well as 'virtual goods'. The singer will also appear in advertising campaigns on TV, online and in stores for the game.

"I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I'm a Sim," said Perry of the collaboration. Working with The Sims Studio, Perry will have her say in Katy Perrythemed accessories, clothing, hairstyles, furniture and props for the games, kicking off with a collector's edition of The Sims 3 Showtime this month, in which characters can become "singers, acrobats and magicians, or even moonlight as a DJ".
